Julie Brickman is also the author of the novel What Birds Can Only Whisper published by Turnstone Press. Her fiction and nonfiction have appeared in the North American Review, the Louisville Review, the Barcelona Review, the International Journal of Women's Studies, Kinesis, Canadian Psychology and the anthologies High Horse and States of Rage. Julie teaches fiction on the faculty of the brief-residency Master of Fine Arts in Writing Program at Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky.
