At the end of each eight-week course, the class celebrates with a reading and a party, The Celebration Reading! Good food. Good drink. Invited guests. We rehearse the pieces to be read in class before the reading. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to perform your work in front of fellow students, family and community members. And then to get feedback. It’s exciting and terrifying. What could be better than that!
